New colorway: Death to MRSA

Shop update will be occuring on Sunday, 8th June at 7:00 pm GST (London). My new "Death to MRSA" colorway, inspired by a microscope image of MRSA bacteria being engulged by a white blood cell, will be available immediately on Cheviot (left) or Shetland (right), or to order on any of my other bases.

Also new to the shop: Mr. Roy, a rainbow gradient, dyed on BFL, and my June Phat Fiber offering, Flamingo on Suffolk to go with the Wensleydale I sent for the Phat Fiber boxes. Happy spinning!

If you've wandered over this way from the Yarn Harlot's blog, thanks very much for coming to visit!

I hope you liked the story of my impressive uncoordination (if you're interested in hearing more about my Ride Across Britain, you can find day-by-day reports and details here), and the inspiration behind Haematoma. If you'd like to get Haematoma, and it's not in stock, please don't hesitate to use the Contact form on the website and let me know what you need. I'm happy to dye on a variety of bases, all of which can be found in the Shop.

If you'd like to get in the loop and keep up to date on new colorways, patterns for handspun, and other general shenanigans around here, please sign up for the monthly newsletter. There's always something new and generally science geeky cooking around here, and I love to have people come visit.

The Two Color Shawl spinalong/knitalong is underway - come join us! Take a look at some of the colorway combinations here, or choose your own for the perfect handspun project. You can purchase fiber here (make sure you note your color choices in the Notes section of your order), and post your progress in the Ravelry group - there's a stickied thread for the spin-along.

There's also a Ravelry thread for the Happy Porpoise SAL! This is a quest to spin our way through Sarah Anderson's genius work "A Spinner's Book of Yarn Design". No fiber purchase is necessary to participate, so come join us and stretch your spinning skills!
