Now in the shop: loads of Shetland (top left, in Pink Lemonade), Bluefaced Leicester (top right, in Pollinator), Dorset Horn (bottom left, in Mantis) and Romney (bottom right, in Berry Compote). Plenty of other colorways now available, so come stock up for Tour de Fleece. And then come join our Tour de Fleece team on Ravelry - we'd love to have you spin with us in July!
Clockwise from top left: Pink Lemonade Shetland, Pollinator Bluefaced Leicester, Berry Compote Romney and Mantis Dorset Horn.
Limited Edition 2015 Tour de Fleece colorways now available!
I've developed four new colorways to honor the 2015 Tour de Fleece route. These will be available for a limited time only, with preorders to start on 10th May, with fiber to ship after 16th May.
The final colorway is inspired by the fantastically beautiful Lac
Blanc, at the top of Alpe d'Huez, the site of the race's penultimate finish. Other colorways include House of Orange, Le Havre, and Gamay.
You can order these colorways now - dyeing will proceed from 18 May, and I will keep you updated on progress via email. Enjoy, and happy spinning!
We've also got single and 2-ply yarns available. Check them all out here.
If you'd like to get in the loop and keep up to date on new colorways, patterns for handspun, and other general shenanigans around here, please sign up for the monthly newsletter.
The Two Color Shawl spinalong/knitalong is underway - come join us! Take a look at some of the colorway combinations here, or choose your own for the perfect handspun project. You can purchase fiber here (make sure you note your color choices in the Notes section of your order), and post your progress in the Ravelry group - there's a stickied thread for the spin-along.
There's also a Ravelry thread for the Happy Porpoise SAL! This is a quest to spin our way through Sarah Anderson's genius work "A Spinner's Book of Yarn Design". No fiber purchase is necessary to participate, so come join us and stretch your spinning skills!
